1. Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung, Germany 

What was once the Frankfurt Motor Show is now the IAA, a popular auto show relocated to Munich and every petrolhead’s dream. It showcases new vehicles, commercial cars, and motorcycles from top names in the industry. With plenty of VIP experiences and interactive demos, there’s something for everyone.

2. NAIAS, USA

Otherwise known as the North American International Auto Show, car enthusiasts flock to Detroit every year for one of the year’s biggest events. Filled with musical entertainment, behind-the-scenes tours, and the latest tech, it’s one of the best auto shows around.

3. Mondial de l’Auto, France

Also known as the Paris Motor Show, this one features the latest technology and dozens of manufacturers. Nearly half a million people attended last year to test-drive cars, meet influencers, and see what’s next for the automotive world.

4. Chicago Auto Show, USA

Go big or go home in North America’s largest automotive show! It’s been around since 1901, highlighting all kinds of incoming models. Browse concept cars, sports utility vehicles, and a wide range of vintage cars.

5. Goodwood Festival of Speed, United Kingdom

This popular UK auto show features everything from the newest models to the classics we know and love. It’s a rather large event with plenty to see, such as supercar displays and BMX stunt driving. Its popular Hillclimb also shows off everything from concept vehicles to cars from the 1900s.

6. SEMA Show, USA

As if there wasn’t enough to see in Las Vegas, the SEMA Show is packed with features. Treat yourself to Freestyle Motocross stunt shows or peruse the latest automotive tech. Attendees can also sit in on the SEMA Show Education talks or its interactive FutureTech exhibit.

7. Japan Mobility Show, Japan

You might recognize it as the Tokyo Motor Show, but not much has changed outside of its name. A popular show since the ‘50s, it saw success almost immediately and continues to wow enthusiasts with the latest Japanese models and a wide range of vehicles from luxury sports cars to fuel-efficient vehicles.

8. Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, China

If you’re looking for the latest in electric cars or technological advancements, this is the show for you. Attendees can indulge in manufacturers’ newest models and concept cars from top names. There are also plenty of industry professionals and interactive exhibits.

9. Washington DC Auto Show, USA

It’s an event for the whole family—the Washington DC Auto Show has been around for decades, offering petrolheads and parents alike the chance for excitement. Racing simulators, interactive exhibits, and concept cars bring something to the table for everyone.

10. Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, USA

If California beaches are more your speed, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance auto show is always an option. This popular auto show has been around since the ‘80s; it’s the nation’s oldest auto show, showcasing everything from state-of-the-art technological advancements to the latest models. It’s widely considered one of the best auto shows for any enthusiast.

13. Milano AutoClassica, Italy

Whether you’re looking for vintage wheels or scoping out the newest models, Italy’s auto show is a great option. What’s particularly fun about this one is that you can also check out boats, relishing in a handful of old finds that take you back to classic waters.

14. New York International Auto Show, USA

What doesn’t New York offer? This fan-favorite has been around for over 100 years, showing off everything from classic celebrity cars to manufacturers’ newest creations. You can peep Hot Rods, Porsches, and Mustangs, and it’s also a great spot for kids with tons of activities to keep them busy.

15. Techno Classica Essen, Germany

This German show unites nearly thirty countries and over 1000 exhibitors, offering attendees a jam-packed experience.

16. EICMA, Italy

EICMA, or Esposizione Internazionale Ciclo Motociclo e Accessori, is one of the world’s best motorcycle shows. It’s been around for over 100 years and offers all sorts of entertainment for motorsports enthusiasts—immerse yourself in vintage models or spend some time in an e-sports simulator.

17. Canadian International Auto Show, Canada

In a city as big as Toronto, it’s no surprise that hundreds of thousands flock to this popular auto show. Attendees have access to the latest models, LEGO displays, and Canada’s largest EV indoor test track. Our favorite part? The Hot Wheels exhibit with a lifesize vehicle!

18. Hot August Nights, USA

We’re not out of Nevada yet! Classic cars strut their stuff every August across Reno, Sparks, and Virginia City. Anyone can (and should) come out to witness a thrilling night of nostalgic models.

19. North Texas Auto Expo, USA

They say everything's bigger in Texas, and what better way to test that theory than visiting the North Texas Auto Expo? You can look at a wide selection of incoming models or cruise down the EV test track.

20. Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo, Canada

We close with another popular show from Toronto—the Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Expo, a newer event that’s been running since 2015. Attendees can walk through Toronto’s Pearson Airport for a look at the hottest custom cars and like-minded motorsports enthusiasts.
